Baby on the Brain

Is it just me or is EVERYONE pregnant right now? Or just had a baby? Or trying to having a baby? Geez I swear it's like the universe is trying to tell me something!

And of course the timing is all wrong for me so I don't even get to entertain the idea of having another baby right now, but if I were, I have got some really cute baby names picked out! SHHH, you really think I am going to tell?

Ya ok, I've never been to good with the suspense.

If we had a girl (Here's hoping right!) Her name would be...

Jane Alyce :)

If we had a boy (way more likely) His name would be...

Henry William :)

Most people kind of cringe when I say Henry, but I don't care. Ben and I love it, and everybody else would grow to love it too. And Mom, It's Henry, not HANK!

Sorry, had to get a little baby aggression off the brain!

Creative or Sleep deprived?

Since Ben has been gone for the past two weeks, my boys, especially Wyatt is having a hard time adjusting. There has only been one night since Ben left that Wyatt hasn't come into my room, stumbling into things, banging around, and crawling over me to sleep on Daddy's side of the bed. It was comforting to me at first, I missed Ben being next to me while I slept, so my babies are the next best thing right! Until little Wyatt gets a cold, and can't sleep very well in the middle of the night.

So what do we end up doing at 2:00 in the morning?

Shadow Puppets of course!

My charger for my phone shines brightly onto my ceiling, so since Wyatt wasn't going to let me get any sleep, figured I might as well entertain him with a hopping shadow bunny or two (because c'mon I am not THAT creative with my finger puppets!)

My handsome boys

I'm don't like to favor my kids, I really don't. So when I say what I am about to say, it is completely without prejudice.

These are the boys new school pictures, Adam is in first grade this year, 6 years old!

This is Wyatt's new Preschool picture, he is 3 years old now, man time flies!

Girls Night In

Ahhh I am so excited! I have always wanted to be a part of a local book club, and believe me I have searched but to no avail. So I just decided the other day that if I couldn't find one, I would create one!

So I did!

I just posted on Facebook what I was thinking of starting, a sort of "Girls Night In" Book club. And I got so many responses! We have already picked our first book and will meet in the middle of November! The book is Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mom by Amy Chua.

We will be holding the first meeting at my house and will rotate every month to a new location! I really can't even contain my excitement, but of course there are some arterial motives.

1. With Ben being gone so much lately with the job change, I really need some down time, some adult time!

2. It will be so nice to get to know some of the women in the group on a higher level, I know all of them, but some more than others.

3. I'm really looking forward to reading books that I normally would not have chosen on my own, so many women brings in different opinions and the conversation should be amazing!

Ahhhh! So exciting! After our first meeting I will update how it went!

Coupon Class!

Who knew that I would get so addicted to couponing? I have only been seriously doing it since June, but man I still get such a rush every time I go to the register and watch my total go lower and lower!
Well I was asked a few weeks ago to teach a coupon class to my neighborhood's relief society...pause for gasp! J/k
I was totally stoked and started planning right away, of course because I am such a planner! I taught the class this last Friday, had a great turn out, and hopefully got some women as excited as I am to save money! I didn't take any pictures of the class or me teaching (I was a little busy). But I thought I would include some recent photos of some of my savings!
This was my shopping trip from today, I only spent $7! Good deal seeing as the pillsbury rolls on a normal basis would cost that much! And obviously I don't need that much toothpaste, but I have recently been building a bag full of things to donate to the local women's shelter, so those will be going there! This I got for completely FREE! I bought about 10 packages of disposable razors $1.97 each, and I had $6 off coupons when I bought 2. So from the overage I got from the coupon (about $10) I was able to purchase the other products, bananas, mushrooms, potatoes, and chocolate syrup!

These are some other items that I got completely FREE! I picked them up using my Staples Rewards card. All I did was recycle some old ink cartridges and they give you credit on your rewards card, then email you a coupon with the total on it and you can buy whatever you want with it! So I picked up some Bounty paper towels, 4 clorox wipes, 2 packs of page protectors (for my coupon sorting!) The other small things are samples that I got in the mail last week.

Isn't this so fun! I love knowing that I am providing for my family, am able to help out and donate some things that are needed at the women's shelter, and am saving money the entire time. If anybody would be interested I could set up another couponing class in the future if I get enough interest! Let me know!
